What would caregiver benefits look like at your agency?

Three numbers you already know. No forms, no email, nothing stored. Move the sliders and watch it change.

Rough numbers are fine. This is a directional estimate, not a proposal.

Read this before you use the number. Everything on the right is an estimate built from averages, not a quote. The per-caregiver range comes from proposals we have run and from UnifyWell's own published figures. Your real number depends on each employee's wages, filing status and existing deductions, and some caregivers will not qualify at all. Nothing here is a guarantee and nothing you type is stored or sent anywhere.

Where these numbers come from

The FICA figure is not an estimate

Employers pay 6.2% for Social Security and 1.45% for Medicare on every dollar of wages, per the Social Security Administration. The 2026 Social Security wage base is $184,500, which no caregiver approaches, so the full 7.65% applies across the board. Headcount times hours times rate times 7.65%. That is the whole calculation.

The range is a range on purpose

UnifyWell's own published example nets an employer roughly $640 per participating employee per year on a $44,000 earner, after the plan's monthly administration fee. Caregiver wages sit below that. Across the proposals we have run the figure has landed between $300 and $900 per participating employee per year, which is why this shows a band rather than a single number.

The turnover number uses published methodology

The 2026 Activated Insights Benchmarking Report puts median caregiver turnover at 75.5% for 2025. The Center for American Progress found replacement costs of roughly 16% of annual salary for employees earning under $30,000. Multiply the two and you get the annual bill for churn, which for most agencies is larger than anything on this page.

What the estimator cannot tell you

It cannot tell you which of your caregivers qualify, and that is the number that actually decides anything. Qualification turns on individual wages, filing status, pay frequency and whatever deductions are already running, so it changes person by person rather than agency by agency.

It also cannot tell you what shows up on a caregiver's check. Participating employees generally see a modest increase in net pay on top of the benefits, and for someone at $18.00 an hour that increase is not nothing. The exact figure is specific to them.

Both of those come out of a proper analysis, which is free and takes a few days. Read the honest version of how this works first if you have not already.

Four questions, about a minute

Get the real number for your roster

The estimate above uses averages. Answer four questions and Charley will get in touch to build the line-by-line version for your actual roster, which shows who qualifies, who does not, and what it does to each paycheck. It is free and there is nothing to buy.

Do your caregivers have health benefits through the agency today?

How is payroll run right now?

What would make this worth a conversation?

Where should the analysis go?

We send the breakdown by email and Charley follows up personally. Reply "stop" any time and that is the end of it.

Your slider numbers come along so nobody has to ask you twice.

Got it. Charley will be in touch.

Charley reads every one of these himself. He will reach out within a couple of business days to get the handful of wage details the line-by-line version needs, then send it back as a plain breakdown rather than a pitch deck.

If it is faster to just talk, the number is 435-999-5450.
